We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Specialist Advisor to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). System Engineer Role Job Description – System Engineer (Windows / Azure / Automation) Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled System Engineer to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure platforms in a client-facing environment. This role requires strong expertise in Windows Server technologies, Microsoft Azure, and automation-driven build processes. The engineer will work closely with a distributed team of engineers, engage with client stakeholders on a daily basis, and serve as an on-call escalation engineer to ensure rapid resolution of critical issues and high service availability.
Job Responsibility:
Design, build, configure, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across on‑premises and Microsoft Azure environments
Automate server build, configuration, and deployment processes using PowerShell, ensuring standardization, repeatability, and reduced manual effort
Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to support automated infrastructure and configuration deployments
Implement and manage Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise, including module development, workspace management, and controlled environment promotions
Act as an on-call escalation engineer on a rotational basis, providing after-hours support and ensuring faster resolution of high-severity incidents
Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning for Windows, Azure, and identity-related issues
Engage in daily client interactions, providing technical updates, participating in operational discussions, and supporting service reviews
Collaborate closely with a team of engineers across infrastructure, cloud, security, and application domains to deliver reliable and scalable solutions
Support change management activities, releases, and production deployments in alignment with client and organizational standards
Create and maintain technical documentation, build standards, automation artifacts, and operational runbooks
Continuously identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and service improvement to enhance platform stability and client satisfaction
Requirements:
Strong experience with Windows Server technologies (build, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, lifecycle management)
Advanced scripting and automation expertise using PowerShell
Solid experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and automation
Working knowledge of Terraform Enterprise for Infrastructure‑as‑Code deployments
Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call / escalation support rotations
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and engineering teams
Typically, 5–8+ years of experience in System Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have:
Java or Groovy experience, particularly for Jenkins pipeline scripting and automation enhancements
Hands-on experience with Group Policy (GPO) management in enterprise environments
Knowledge of security best practices, server hardening, and compliance standards
Experience working in hybrid cloud or large-scale enterprise environments
