Job Description:

The Systems Integration Advisor will lead the design and development of Java backend applications, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices. This role requires extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Azure services, along with strong project management and mentorship skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design and development of Java backend applications using Java, SpringBoot, Azure ESB/Apache Kafka/Rabbit MQ/Active MQ framework adhering to the architectural principles, best practices, laid out standards and provide technical direction to team members
  • Translate business requirements in to detailed technical specification and work with technical lead and architect to get the architectural approvals complying to the customer platform level standards and NFRs
  • Proficient in Azure Spring Apps, Azure Service Bus, Enterprise Integration patterns Expertise in integrating DB patterns with Spring JPA
  • Create detailed, high-quality technical designs and ensure scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and implement unit/integration testing frameworks
  • Troubleshoot the issues, perform peer reviews and ensure that enhancements meet the required performance standards
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, identify technical risks, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of extensive hands on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, Azure ESB/Apache Kafka/Rabbit MQ/Active MQ, XML, XSLT
  • Proficiency in Azure services such as Blob, Azure SQL
  • Expert in software development design patterns
  • Solid experience on unit test frameworks using JUnit, Mockito or PowerMock
  • Extensive Experience on XML, XSLT, and JSON
  • Experience on CICD tools such as SonarQube, Git Actions
  • Experienced on Agile methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

Experience in Insurance domain is a plus
