Job Responsibility:
Execute Block data migration projects
Planning and designing migration strategies to minimize downtime and data loss
Performing data migration using appropriate tools and techniques certified by GS
Validating data integrity and consistency after migration
Troubleshooting and resolving migration-related issues
Requirements:
Extensive experience in confirmation and administration of Dell EMC block arrays PowerMax/VMAX
Exposure to other block products like Hitachi Vantara G700 and E1090
Experience on managing iSCSI storage arrays
Must have extensive experience in block storage migrations
Have storage management experience from OS side (Unix/RHEL/Windows)
Ability to assess storage array performance to make necessary workload balancing with storage migration
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies
Perform regular capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate resources
