Systems Engineering Senior Group Manager

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of z/TPD, Stratus and I-series System Programmers
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of z/TPF Stratus and I-Series software
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, including software errors, hardware failures, and system crashes
• Implement and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and system integrity
• Plan for future system needs and ensure adequate resources are available to meet business requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
• Work with other IT teams, such as application support, database administration, and network engineering
• Expert level familiarity with disaster recovery solution, and specifically storage replication technologies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Overall 15+ yrs of exp with minimum of 8 years of experience in z/TPF Administration
• Deep understanding of z/TPF, VOS and IOS operating system and other related tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues
• Proven leadership experience, including managing, mentoring, and developing a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other teams
• Familiarity with mainframe hardware and software, including Crypto, FICON, I-series and Stratus systems utilities
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
