VAST Data is looking to hire a Systems Engineering Manager for our CSP business! We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager focused on CSPs to lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers. This leader will be responsible for enabling, supporting, and accelerating VAST’s strategic initiatives with global cloud providers. The role combines technical depth, leadership, and business acumen—helping drive joint technical solutions, reference architectures, and customer adoption within CSP environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems engineers dedicated to CSP partnerships and customer success
  • own the technical relationship with major CSPs, ensuring seamless integration of VAST’s data platform into cloud environments
  • collaborate with Product, Sales, and Alliance teams to define and execute on joint solution strategies with CSPs
  • drive the creation of solution architectures, best practices, and deployment guides optimized for cloud-scale environments
  • partner with CSP solution architects and field teams to evangelize VAST solutions with enterprise and AI customers
  • ensure technical excellence in proof-of-concepts, reference deployments, and large-scale customer architectures
  • provide feedback to Product Management to influence roadmap priorities aligned with CSP needs and customer demand

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in Systems Engineering or Solution Architecture roles
  • at least 2+ years in a leadership or management capacity
  • deep technical expertise in distributed systems, storage, networking, and cloud architectures
  • proven experience working with one or more hyperscale CSPs (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.)
  • strong leadership skills: able to inspire, develop, and scale technical teams
  • track record of driving CSP partnerships and building technical go-to-market motions
