We are seeking motivated summer interns to support a range of technical, acquisition, and programmatic tasks in support of intelligence collection programs. Working under the guidance of experienced mentors, interns will contribute to real-world projects supporting the mission of our Intelligence Community customer while gaining valuable industry experience in a collaborative environment. Come work alongside our program team as we plan, develop, manage, and execute a collaborative project from concept generation, to acquisition and engineering, through capability delivery and customer presentations. You will develop the ability to strategize with, and develop, the customer's software and systems architecture as you tackle a project with direct impact on national security. Arcfield's intern program is designed to provide college students the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on work experience in a professional environment. Our goal is to build a roadmap that leads you to a long, rewarding and challenging career. Interns typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Under direct supervision, you will perform various hands-on tasks and assignments for the organization's professional staff in such disciplines as project management, systems engineering, agile software development, data science, and technologies such as cloud and AI/ML.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to team objectives and organizational goals
Assist in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
Analyze and develop system architecture and design
Work in a software development team coding applications and tools
Contribute to agentic AI model development and implementation
Support data collection, processing, and analysis activities
Participate in integration testing and verification procedures
Help develop technical documentation and system specifications
Support risk identification, management processes, and validation of project deliverables
Present project findings and accomplishments at the end of the internship
Requirements:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, related-STEM, or business program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Available to work the duration of the ten weeks and commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week in person in Chantilly, VA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
Have the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI Poly security clearance
