Responsible for providing systems leadership through various phases of the product life cycle. Manage verification and traceability of product requirements and specifications for new hardware and software products. Aid in product validation planning and execution, and analyze, calculate, and report on reliability and durability verification activities.
Job Responsibility:
Serve on the systems engineering team and interact with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to achieve verification goals
Lead system verification, validation planning and execution, reliability plan, testing and analysis, and integration planning
Act as a leader of technical excellence and participate as an agent for continuous improvement within the Systems Engineering function
Identify tasks/resources and ensure critical project milestones are met
Perform systems integration activities, including reliability testing and statistical data analysis
Utilize cross-functional knowledge to resolve technical challenges, drive issues to closure, and retire technical risks necessary for new product introduction
Apply Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) best practices
Requirements:
At least 5 years of related work experience required (a combination of work experience and advanced degrees)
Extensive experience implementing Systems Engineering best practices
Experience with Systems Engineering and requirements management
Experience with Reliability Engineering and statistical analysis
Familiarity with systems integration and testing, Project Management, and Failure Modes Effects Analysis
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
a postgraduate degree is preferred
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Nice to have:
LabView and test automation experience is desirable
Ability to use, view, and understand CAD tools (OrCad, Solidworks, Cadence) is desirable
