Job Responsibility:
Managing incidents as per ITIL incident management process
Assist in the development design and implementation of technical support systems
Requirements:
1 – 4 Year experience
Bachelors' degree preferably in Computer Science
Skilled in installation and troubleshooting problems encountered on OS (Linux/Windows) and Middleware and application level (Apache Web Server, IIS, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Postfix, Load balancing, reverse proxy etc.)
Working knowledge Virtual Hypervisor management (Xen/Oracle VM, KVM or VMware)
Basic knowledge of public cloud management like AWS, Azure etc.
Patch management, deployment, and server upgradation (Linux/Windows)
Basic understanding of network protocols (Linux/Windows)
Knowledge in both Linux (Bash, Perl, and/or Python) and Windows (PowerShell, batch, and/or VBScript)
May have to provide services in a 24*7 environment
Work and monitor the local backup and recovery process on daily basis
Assist in the developing standards, guidelines procedures for network support
Documenting incident management procedures
Nice to have:
Good written/verbal and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work in 24 x 7 rotational shifts
Good knowledge on operating systems (Linux and Windows)
Good knowledge of monitoring tools
Proven ability to fix moderate to complex issues related to hardware and software
Basic knowledge of public cloud management like AWS, Azure etc
