Job Description:

HPE Aruba Networking is looking for a Systems Engineer (Presales Network Consultant) to join their team. The position involves designing technical solutions, assisting customers, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve customer satisfaction. The role is hybrid, requiring two days a week onsite, and involves occasional business travel across Malaysia.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain excellent communication with customers and partners in your assigned sector
Represent HPE Aruba as a technical expert in customer/partner meetings, forums, and industry events
Drive opportunities through consultative engagement techniques
Build customer loyalty by becoming a trusted advisor
Collaborate effectively with the wider account team to ensure overall customer satisfaction
Develop deep technical expertise in key areas of the Aruba portfolio
Gain a strong understanding of the end-to-end Aruba solutions
Obtain Aruba Expert-level certifications
Tailor proposals and solution designs to meet specific customer requirements
Demonstrate the validity and feasibility of the proposed solutions
Identify growth paths and scalability for long-term architectural positioning
Clearly articulate key elements of the implementation plan, managing stakeholder expectations
Actively support the account team with solution guidance, proposal development, presentations, and customer communications
Provide technical support and input for deals in the pipeline
Share expertise by mentoring peers and participating in knowledge transfer and internal enablement programs
Facilitate a smooth transition from presales to delivery, ensuring continuity in project design and execution.

Requirements:

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Hold a bachelor’s degree in science or a related field
Have 8–10 years of experience in a Solution Architect, Systems Engineer, or Presales role, preferably with a manufacturer and/or system integrator
Experienced in designing and supporting complex enterprise networks across various industries
Proficient in networking solutions including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and network management platforms — both on-premises and cloud-based (as-a-service)
Hold relevant networking certifications (e.g., HPE Aruba Networking, Cisco, Juniper, Extreme)
additional experience with network access control/security solutions (e.g., ClearPass, Cisco ISE, Forescout) is a strong advantage
Possess strong skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation, with the ability to build trust and influence technical and business stakeholders
Able to understand and align with customer value chains, technical innovations, and evolving industry trends
Knowledgeable in competitive solutions and capable of positioning HPE Aruba offerings effectively against other vendors
Strong in customer-facing communication, with the ability to translate technical product features into clear business value
A collaborative team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude, able to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment.
