Job Description:

We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a high-performing IT team supporting a variety of enterprise-level clients. This is a mostly remote position with some presence required in Ventura County, CA. The ideal candidate has deep experience in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), strong networking and server management skills, and a proven track record of executing technical projects in dynamic environments.

Job Responsibility:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
Lead and support network configurations including switching, routing, VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, wireless, and network security
Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology projects on time and within scope
Proactively monitor systems and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision
Document systems and procedures and mentor junior team members as needed.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a senior systems engineering or infrastructure role
Experience with Azure or AWS (certifications are a plus
specific platform training provided)
Strong knowledge of networking: switching, routing, VLANs, inter-VLANs, wireless, and network security
Proficiency with Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies
Excellent multitasking, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
