We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in VMware, enterprise storage, and Microsoft Office 365 to support and enhance our IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for administering virtual environments, managing storage systems, supporting Microsoft 365 services, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of core infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical expertise and the ability to work across server, cloud, and end-user environments.
Job Responsibility
Administer, maintain, and optimize VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines
Manage and support enterprise storage platforms, including provisioning, performance monitoring, backups, and capacity planning
Administer Microsoft Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and user account management
Monitor system performance, availability, and security across infrastructure platforms
Perform system upgrades, patching, migrations, and hardware/software lifecycle management
Troubleshoot issues related to virtualization, storage, backups, and Microsoft 365 services
Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup strategies
Collaborate with network, security, and desktop support teams on infrastructure-related initiatives
Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and standard operating procedures
Participate in on-call support and respond to critical infrastructure incidents as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure support
Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter administration
Experience with SAN, NAS, or other enterprise storage technologies
Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Office 365 environments
Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, and backup technologies
Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
