We're partnering with a leading technology company focused on guest support experiences across their vacation brands, to find a talented Systems Engineer. This is a Hyrbid Contract role, located in Orlando, FL, offering an exciting opportunity to lead critical platform projects and optimize performance.
Job Responsibility
Independently own and maintain the Zendesk platform, ensuring system availability, security, and compliance for a large support team
Design, develop, and implement complex integrations and customizations using Zendesk APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Liquid
Lead the planning and execution of platform upgrades, migrations, and feature deployments from requirements gathering through post-launch support
Develop and refine workflows, triggers, automations, SLAs, and routing rules to streamline support operations
Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution efforts to maintain platform reliability, while communicating effectively with various stakeholders
Requirements
Over 5 years of hands-on experience managing and developing within Zendesk, owning production platforms with minimal oversight
Expertise in Zendesk APIs, custom app and theme development, and creating robust integration solutions
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Liquid for platform customization
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions independently
Knowledge of analytics/reporting in Zendesk, including custom dashboards and data modeling
