Responsible for managing project schedules & resources, and coordinating the development, integration, validation and testing for the safety-critical embedded vehicle functions with VW's internal customer and internal staff; serve as Project Lead for all VWoA North America Region (NAR) product development activities such validation management, project coordination and communication, project resource planning, project budget and engineering, project/progress reports and Presentations to management (both internal and external Project Affiliates); manage NAR connected infotainment product development activities; develop and contribute to the North American specific requirement process; act as liaison between affiliate VWGoA Departments and European Development Departments; mentor project engineers and manage job training for team members; create, review, and manage NAR functional requirements. In the city of Belmont, CA, the salary range for this position is $197,558-$286,200. Requirements: BS in Electronics or Computer Engineering or related discipline and 96 months of experience, or MS and 72. Experience must have included: infotainment systems and related technologies.
