Job Description

The OT Engineer is responsible for supporting and implementing solutions to build, maintain, and improve Operational Technology and Security in our manufacturing areas. This position reports to the Sr Manager Manufacturing OT and is part of the IT Global Manufacturing Site Ops & Sourcing Team and will be an on-site role.

Job Responsibility

  • Support and drive OT standards adoption and implementation across the manufacturing sites
  • Work closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate IT/OT systems into overall project frameworks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT/OT interfaces, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Facilitate and support new technology assessment, Proof of Concepts, Pilots, and Expansion Plans collaborating with Engineering, IT, Information Security, Operations, and Vendors
  • Provide production support and maintenance for enterprise systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, computer or industrial engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience in designing, implementing, validating, and maintaining IT systems in a regulated biotechnology industry
  • Experience in networking and systems administration
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Fluent level of English & Korean in written and verbal communications
  • Ability to travel abroad upon business needs
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record within territory or locations
  • If foreign national, legal work permit is required to pursue employment contract by Korean immigration law
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment, any other physical requirements

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and technologies
  • Familiarity with OT network principles
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, industrial control systems, and PLCs
