Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support a defence communications programme delivering complex voice, data, and radio communication systems. The role requires strong systems engineering experience across the full lifecycle, including requirements, design, integration, testing, and acceptance.

Job Responsibility

  • Support systems engineering activities across the full project lifecycle
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Support business development, studies, and system de-risking activities
  • Produce engineering estimates and report on technical progress
  • Support system integration and acceptance activities
  • Deliver work to agreed scope, quality, cost, and schedule

Requirements

  • Strong Systems Engineering background
  • Experience with requirements management, system design, integration, and testing
  • Knowledge of engineering lifecycle and development tools
  • Experience within communications systems is highly desirable, including: IP networking, VOIP, Radio communications, Network security, Linux / virtual environments
  • Must be eligible for SC Clearance and meet ITAR requirements

Nice to have

  • Military or defence communications experience
  • EMC/environmental standards knowledge
  • Product safety and design certification awareness
