Heinen’s is seeking a Systems Architect to help shape the future of our application and infrastructure landscape. In this role, you will design, modernize, and support enterprise systems with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure cloud-native solutions. You will collaborate closely with application developers, business partners, and external vendors to modernize legacy platforms, integrate cloud services, and deliver scalable, secure technology solutions that support business objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure system architectures, primarily within Microsoft Azure
Support and integrate Azure-based solutions with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) systems
Lead and support the modernization of legacy C# .NET and Microsoft SQL Server applications
Partner with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure consistent, high-quality deployments
Provide architectural guidance for on premises to cloud migrations, APIs, and web services
Embed security, performance, availability, and compliance best practices into all designs
Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs
Identify opportunities to enhance system functionality, performance, and efficiency
Manage assigned project deliverables, timelines, and dependencies
Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Analyze business processes and recommend automation and system improvements
Develop and maintain testing processes to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues
Assist with project planning, effort estimation, and delivery timelines
Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
4+ years of experience in systems architecture, application development, or related roles
Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including: Windows Server, Active Directory, and IIS
C# .NET (Framework and .NET Core) and Microsoft SQL Server
