Systems Architect

• Capturing and analysing stakeholder needs, both functional and non-functional, translating them into comprehensive technical geo spatial product requirements and defining architectural solutions to satisfy them
• Designing and modelling functionality and physical systems, expressing the solution to a level appropriate for the audience
• Evaluating technical options in a way that considers the appropriate level of detail, wider impacts and available technology
• Leading the technical architecture, integration and potential deployment of the solution and the related IT infrastructure
• Design and develop complex systems required by geospatial projects and cloud-based solutions using in-house or cloud infrastructure
• Participating and contributing to the organisational capabilities, geospatial products and services portfolio design and development

• Proven experience as a System Architect, with Cloud experience
• Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) from conceptual through detailed design with knowledge and experience of common architecture frameworks (TOGAF, NAF, etc)
• Experience and knowledge of IT security and a good understanding of “security by design” and “privacy by design”
• Understanding of cloud technology, cloud architecture and how to design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions and services hosted in the cloud
• Understanding of the management and provision of the solution infrastructure including all aspects related to processing, storage, networking, high-availability, resilience, and backup

INCOSE System Engineering CSEP certification or equivalent is desired
