Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology solutions while advancing your career. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system integrity, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide technical support for Point of Sale (POS) systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software components such as barcode scanners, card readers, and receipt printers
  • install, configure, and maintain end-user devices such as computers, printers, and other networked equipment
  • manage user accounts within an Active Directory and Office 365 environment, ensuring proper access and security
  • monitor and maintain network security by adhering to compliance standards and best practices
  • develop and implement automated processes to ensure systems are updated with the latest operating system patches, antivirus definitions, and application revisions
  • maintain accurate inventory records for network computer equipment, including serial numbers
  • conduct evaluations of software and hardware for research and development purposes to support organizational goals
  • create and update technical documentation and diagrams for systems and processes
  • participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely responses to technical issues as per department protocols
  • perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support IT operations.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in a multi-server environment with 50+ users
  • strong organizational skills with attention to detail, including experience in incident tracking, change management, and project management
  • ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools using available resources
  • proficiency in collaborating with individuals across all organizational levels, both within and outside the IT department
  • capable of working independently as well as part of a team
  • demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • dependable and adaptable to changing needs and priorities
