Systems Analyst

• Lead regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders while mentoring analysts on application workflows
• Organize discovery sessions to identify operational requirements and propose effective solutions
• Investigate and resolve system issues, recommending corrective actions to improve functionality
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement technical solutions and enhance system performance
• Support integration efforts between Epic Beaker and third-party applications, utilizing tools like Data Innovations Instrument Manager
• Develop and maintain Reporting Workbench reports to provide actionable insights from laboratory data
• Ensure system documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date
• Coordinate testing, upgrades, and go-live activities for Epic systems to ensure smooth transitions
• Maintain Epic Master Training environment and deliver user training to ensure effective system utilization

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field
• Master’s degree is preferred
• Certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician is advantageous
• At least two years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Epic Beaker certification in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology is required or must be obtained within nine months of hiring
• Proficiency in system analysis and technical troubleshooting is essential
• Prior experience with Epic system builds, training, and support is highly desirable
• Familiarity with tools such as Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM systems
