Robert Half is hiring an experienced Systems Analyst to join our client in Austin, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing business needs, creating data pipelines, and developing dashboards and reports. This opportunity offers a collaborative environment where you will work closely with program staff to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze business objectives, operational procedures, and user requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and alternative solutions
Design and develop data pipelines, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Informatica, Tableau, or Power BI based on business specifications
Collaborate with program staff to ensure deliverables meet customer needs and organizational goals
Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions
Review system capabilities and scheduling limitations to determine the viability of requested changes or new implementations
Participate in the testing and validation of pipelines, dashboards, and reports to ensure they function as intended
Provide detailed documentation describing user needs, program functionality, and system development processes
Work with team members to publish and promote dashboards and reports, ensuring seamless integration within the organization
Support Agile Scrum practices to deliver iterative improvements and address system gaps
Utilize strong communication and analytical skills to document and address issues in call center operations and other business areas
Requirements:
Proven experience in business analysis and systems analysis, including identifying and addressing operational gaps
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and familiarity with Informatica
Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project management
Ability to evaluate and document system requirements, workflows, and user needs
Experience in conducting cost-benefit analyses and gap analyses to guide decision-making
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
Familiarity with call center customer service processes and related documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support data-driven solutions
