We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support daily technology operations at our Fort Lauderdale, Florida facility. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable infrastructure, assisting employees with technical issues, and helping ensure secure, efficient use of business systems. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with server administration, endpoint support, and networked environments, along with a service-oriented approach to user support.
Job Responsibility
Manage day-to-day IT support activities, responding to user issues and restoring service across hardware, software, and networked systems
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing equipment, provisioning applications, assigning access, and guiding users through required tools
Maintain and support business applications, helping keep systems stable, functional, and aligned with operational needs
Administer core infrastructure including virtual environments, directory services, policy controls, data backups, and endpoint protection platforms
Monitor system performance and availability to help protect uptime, preserve data accuracy, and support disaster recovery preparedness
Oversee intranet administration and enhancements to improve usability and ongoing functionality
Perform access reviews, support segregation-of-duties controls, and prepare documentation needed for audits and compliance activities
Investigate technical problems, support upgrade efforts, and contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency
Manage IT assets and vendor relationships while keeping architecture records, change logs, and support documentation current
Work with information security stakeholders to address vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and enforce secure handling of sensitive data
Requirements
At least 5 years of hands-on IT administration experience, ideally within a manufacturing or similarly operational environment
Practical expertise with Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 10, Dell technologies, and Citrix technologies
Strong understanding of infrastructure administration, endpoint support, system security, and backup or recovery practices
Familiarity with information security controls, audit support, access governance, and secure data management principles
Demonstrated ability to diagnose technical issues, prioritize effectively, and resolve problems in time-sensitive situations
Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support end users effectively and courteously
Nice to have
Degree in computer science or a related field
