Job Description:

The Systems Administrator role is essential for maintaining and enhancing the performance, security, and reliability of the company's IT infrastructure. This permanent position is based in Grand Island, Nebraska, and requires expertise in system administration, virtualization, and network technologies. The administrator will be responsible for optimizing Windows Server environments, managing Cisco technologies, implementing firewall solutions, automating tasks via scripting, and more.

Job Responsibility:

Administer and optimize Microsoft Windows Server environments to ensure seamless operations
Configure and maintain Cisco technologies to support network infrastructure
Implement and manage firewall solutions to safeguard network security
Leverage cluster analysis techniques to improve system performance and efficiency
Utilize Microsoft Virtual Server and VMware platforms to address virtualization needs
Automate routine tasks through scripting to enhance system productivity
Manage and maintain Active Directory services, ensuring reliable user authentication and access
Administer backup technologies to secure data and facilitate recoverability
Offer technical expertise and support to team members on system-related issues

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or a related field
Proficiency in managing and configuring Active Directory services
Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10 environments
Experience with Microsoft Virtual Server and VMware technologies
Solid understanding of Cisco network solutions
Familiarity with scripting for automation purposes
Knowledge of firewall technologies and data backup solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
