A skilled systems administrator with collateral experience is critical to ensuring secure, reliable operations across interconnected environments, particularly where systems must meet strict compliance and security requirements. Job Responsibility:
Management, administration, and support of organization IT systems infrastructure
Support additional technologies as they are adopted
Vulnerability remediation on secure and unclassified systems
Addressing Category 1, 2, 3 issues in a timely manner
Recognizing and troubleshooting issues with developer's machines across a variety of Operating Systems
Perform all related duties as assigned
Configure and maintain (physical and virtual) servers and researcher workstations
Configure and Manage Centralized Logging and Audit Capabilities
Requirements:
Must have an Active Secret Clearance or higher
Must be US Citizen
Approximately 8 years of Linux administration experience
Technologies including DNS, DHCP, Proxy and Load Balancing
UNIX platform, OSX, Cisco IOS
Virtualization Technologies (VMware, including ESXi and VCenter configuration)
Windows Patch Management
Windows Server Platform
Nice to have:
Linux RealTime Kernel support experience is a bonus
Certification(s) in one or more of the following disciplines: Solaris administration, Red Hat, VMWare, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Linux Professional Institute Certification
Real Time Linux Kernels, Tuning and Performance Analysis
