We are seeking Systems Administrator to join our team full time, to work onsite in Melbourne CBD. Salary will be between $80,000 and $100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Job Responsibility:
Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of IT systems and networks
Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, operating systems, and applications
Manage system backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity procedures
Implement system updates, patches, and configuration changes
Provide technical support and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a systems administration or IT infrastructure role
Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Server+, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or similar, highly regarded
Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Proficiency in administering Windows and/or Linux server environments
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
Knowledge of virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V)
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Competence in system monitoring tools and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash)
Understanding of networking concepts and firewalls
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
Ability to manage patching, updates, and endpoint security
