AnaVation is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team and support our mission critical customer in Reston, VA.

Plan, design, and implement infrastructure changes and system upgrades
Manage and troubleshoot multiple VMware environments
Provide Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Create STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS
Create, test, and deploy software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc
Provide expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes
Utilize scripting to automate common tasks
Perform hardware maintenance/repair activities
Ensure proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities
Provide advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers

Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience related to specific functional area
Currently hold, or be able to attain a CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level II
Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash
Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and other types of enterprise level Virtual Infrastructures
Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO)
Working collaboratively across cross-functional teams of all experience levels
Monitoring and managing system resources, including CPU, storage, and other cloud resources to maintain operating efficiency performance
Performing systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts
Experience setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating resources for database and other application hosting

Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) administration
Satellite server administration
Ansible playbook writing
Implementing STIGs
Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment
