Systems Administrator

• Oversee day-to-day administration of VMware-based server environments that support manufacturing operations and business applications
• Maintain Azure infrastructure, including compute resources, network components, and identity-related services to ensure reliable performance
• Use ManageEngine platforms to coordinate endpoint administration, software updates, asset visibility, and ongoing system health monitoring
• Support network access control and endpoint policy enforcement through Cisco security technologies and related authentication tools
• Administer backup and recovery processes with Cohesity or comparable platforms to strengthen data protection and disaster recovery readiness
• Plan and execute patching activities for servers, user devices, and critical infrastructure while reducing disruption to plant production schedules
• Apply cybersecurity controls such as endpoint defense, access governance, vulnerability remediation, and incident response support across the environment
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors on infrastructure enhancements, security initiatives, and operational improvements for the site
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures to support audits and consistent IT support
• Provide support for a remote manufacturing facility, including occasional after-hours assistance when incidents or urgent issues arise

• At least 5 years of experience in systems administration or a closely related infrastructure support role
• Practical expertise with VMware technologies such as vSphere and ESXi in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, and identity components
• Background using ManageEngine tools for endpoint management, patch deployment, and service or asset administration
• Familiarity with Cisco security and networking technologies, including firewall, switch, MFA, or access control environments
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions, with exposure to Cohesity considered highly valuable
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices, system hardening, and patch governance in uptime-sensitive production environments
• Effective troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills, ideally within manufacturing IT or IT/OT settings
