Job Description

We are currently seeking a Systems Administration Analyst to join our team in Coimbatore, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).

Job Responsibility

  • Acts as the key resource in the deployment and maintenance of new systems to keep the system environment stable and interruptions to a minimum in standalone and multi-tiered environments
  • Presents status reports to management team
  • Proactively assesses exposure areas and takes steps to reduce vulnerabilities
  • Transfer knowledge and provides leadership to less experienced team members, in the implementation of new hardware, operating systems and other required software

Requirements

  • 3-5 years IT experience
  • Strong working knowledge and experience on Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008 & 2012
  • Strong Knowledge in VMWare ESX, VSphere, Vcenter
  • Working knowledge on Patch Mgmt tool like SCCM, WSUS & SMS
  • Good knowledge in Active Directory, DNS & DHCP
  • Good knowledge on Microsoft Clusters and NLB
  • Preparing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Major Incident Report (MIR) for the major failures
  • Maintain Risk register for Operating system
  • Knowledge on Antivirus management for OS
  • Knowledge on ITIL process

  • Own incident communication during major storage/backup outages
  • Identify patterns of recurring failures and raise tickets (RCA inputs)
  • Support DR drills (snapshot validation, restore tests)
  • Contribute to SOP creation, optimization, and automation improvements
