Job Description:

We are looking for an System Support Engineer with French to join the Sopra Steria Polska team and contribute to a project for a client that provides technological and operational support for the French postal service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing 2nd level support to customer infrastructure and apply solutions to stabilize and refresh customer environment
  • Modifying operating system configuration and maintaining server services
  • Calls with client
  • Proposing improvements
  • Contacting on-site support and 3rd party support in case of hw incidents
  • Dealing with incidents, requests and troubleshooting on customer infrastructure
  • Regular system and firmware updates
  • Deployment of new virtual servers
  • Creation and updates of documentation
  • Training of other team members
  • On-call duty outside working hours paid extra

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Netbackup and Rubrik
  • Good knowledge of Ignite, HPUX, LINUX (SLES)
  • Good knowledge of EXS, VMWare Vsphere
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
  • Knowledge of French language at minimum B2

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of scheduling environments
