Job Description:

System/Software Engineer. This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. We’re looking for people who are excited about building infrastructure that global businesses rely on -- robust, high-performance software. Job Responsibility:

  • Building (developing & testing) multi-service networking and network security products that are the foundation for the internet and its security
  • Working on hardware and virtual/containerized systems that secure networks
  • Resolving internal and external customer issues
  • Interfacing with product management team, QA team, platform development team, and other teams responsible for the product development cycle
  • Building AI based tool for Engineering including debug, development

Requirements:

  • MS or PHD in EE/CE/CS
  • Working knowledge of Embedded System
  • Working knowledge of Hardware Architecture
  • Strong programming fundamentals (e.g., C/C++, Python), including the design and implementation of algorithms
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • team player
  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to challenging problems
  • Basic knowledge in AI

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of Operating Systems like Unix/Linux
  • Experience on open-source code
  • Virtual Machine
  • knowledge of using AI tool for coding, debug, analysis
  • Familiarity with Routing protocols, Ethernet switching, IP forwarding, Class/Quality of service, Firewall & access control, TCP/IP, UDP
