Executes system integration testing for server platforms across hardware and software domains under the guidance of senior engineers. Supports the validation of system reliability and compatibility during product development and NPI phases. Participates in the execution of automated test scripts and AI-assisted testing tools to support quality and efficiency goals. This role focuses on building foundational technical expertise while contributing to defined test tasks and data-driven issue reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Execute Testing: Perform server system integration tests covering hardware, firmware (BIOS), OS, drivers, and management software during development and NPI phases.
Test Documentation: Assist in developing and maintaining test cases, test plans, and technical documentation based on established requirements.
Automation Support: Run Python-based automated test scripts and assist in maintaining the test automation environment.
Initial Triage: Perform basic log analysis and failure reproduction
assist senior engineers in root cause investigations across HW/SW boundaries.
Issue Tracking: Document defects clearly in tracking systems and collaborate with development teams to verify bug fixes.
Reporting: Collect test data and assist in generating quality reports to communicate status to the immediate team.
Continuous Learning: Proactively learn server architecture, virtualization platforms, and industry-standard testing methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
Typically 0–2 years of experience in system validation, hardware/software testing, or a related technical field (internship experience is a plus).
Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of computer or server system architecture, hardware components, and HW/SW integration.
Programming Basics: Proficiency in at least one programming language, with a strong preference for Python scripting.
OS Familiarity: Basic experience with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Ubuntu) and an interest in virtualization (VMware/KVM).
Analytical Mindset: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills for basic hardware and software debugging.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly within a team environment.
