Job Responsibility

  • Direct support and supervision of operational excellence for the VIC program across CommonSpirit Health
  • Provides support and direction for all operational workflows that enable exceptional operational outcomes, superior engagement of clinical team members, and excellent patient experience outcomes
  • Provides strategic leadership and comprehensive operational oversight for all aspects of VIC Units
  • Manages multidisciplinary teams of physicians, nurses, and support staff
  • Develops and implements strategic plans to optimize patient flow, clinical efficiency, and financial performance
  • Oversees regulatory compliance, advanced technology adoption, resource allocation, and staff development and engagement
  • Supervision and operational leadership for a virtual nurse team within the critical care program to include scheduling, time management, and professional development
  • Identifies issues, constraints, and barriers within the program regarding new models of care
  • Assists in the development of model changes
  • Communicates with patient care staff and managerial team members to embrace innovative concepts
