Lead system integration activities for E-Mobility components including Inverters, motors, Integrated Drive Modules (IDMs), and X-in-1 products
Drive front-end integration of E-products across multiple test environments such as HiL, High-Voltage, and e-Dyne benches ensuring robustness of system integration and validation activities
Collaborate closely with Hardware, Mechanical, and Software teams to identify, analyze, and resolve system integration issues effectively
Possess a basic understanding of hardware layouts and schematics for X-in-1 products, including wiring harness design for respective test systems, associated integration aspects, and an overview of mechanical CAD diagrams to support cross-functional discussions
Review system architecture elements and define, maintain, and execute the System Integration Strategy, ensuring all system elements are integrated in alignment with the overall system architecture
Create system integration test specifications and test cases to validate system architectural design
Execute system integration testing, document test results, logs, and observations, and communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders
Drive compliance with ASPICE process requirements, maintain oversight of Functional Safety (FuSa) aspects, and support internal and external ASPICE audits and assessments
Requirements:
B.E. / BTech / M.E. / MTech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics
6 to 10 years experience
Proven experience in leading projects, including technical support, task planning, execution tracking, status monitoring, and reporting
Experience in Vehicle Powertrain Testing, preferably within Electric and Hybrid powertrain domains
Strong domain expertise in Inverters and Electric Drive systems
Hands-on experience in defining system integration and integration test strategies
Experience working in High-Voltage laboratories and performing e-Dyne/Dyno testing, including issue analysis, troubleshooting, and handling of test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers and thermal loggers
Experience with test and requirements management tools such as Polarion, DOORS, and Jira/equivalent tools
Good knowledge of ASPICE processes and Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
familiarity with ISO 16750-2 is preferred
Basic knowledge of microcontroller-based hardware, electric motors, automotive electronics, electrical circuits and mechanical components
Proficiency with Embedded C, MATLAB/Simulink, Visio, MathType, and Git
Proficiency with automotive test, calibration, and validation tools, including: CANoe (CAPL scripting), CANape, TraceTronic-ECU-TEST, NI LabVIEW, NI Veristand, dSPACE ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, Typhoon HIL- Schematic Editor/ Control Center, PUMA, Git and Bitbucket
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and FlexRay
Strong leading skills, interpersonal skills and high intercultural social competence
Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with global teams
