Job Description:

The System Feature Owner position is a customer-facing role, requiring a deep technical understanding, while requiring the soft skills needed to interface with customers and other stakeholders. The System Feature Owner ensures cooperation with internal and external development teams to secure system deliverables.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze requirements from customer and other stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder requirements and act as stakeholder requirement owner
  • Develop/Clarify the requirements with stakeholders
  • Create and assign feature requirements
  • Act as driver for analyzing effort and cost for realizing the change request
  • Communicate and maintain function level status by coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders. Manage function requirements change requests
  • Make sure that the function is delivered to the customer with agreed scope on time and quality
  • Support system integration and testing activities
  • Link core function deliveries with project timing
  • Compiling process-oriented metrics on stakeholder-level for the owned function
  • Customer problem reports: Triage, analyze and lead the problem resolution process of assigned features, compilation of uniquely prioritized list of open problem reports, verifying fixed problem reports together with the customer and/or other competencies
  • Responsible for the compliance with APTIV processes and methods on SYS level
  • The role might involve international and intercontinental travels multiple times a year

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in electronics, telecommunication, robotics, software engineering, computer science, physics or equivalent
  • 3 years or more work experience as systems engineer, product owner, function engineer or equivalent
  • Proven experience in sensing functions such as: camera, Radar, Lidar, Fusion
  • Proven leadership skills and good judgment regarding systems, software, perception
  • Fluent proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • Experience in the automotive and/or truck industry development (ISO26262, Regulations, etc.)
  • Experience in ASPICE is preferred
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Experience in Polarion / Doors
  • Basic programming skills in Matlab, Python or C/C++
  • Understanding of product development process
  • Self-motivated, professional, positive attitude
  • Ability to take high levels of responsibility: making decisions, being accountable
  • Ability to work in diverse environment and ability to function in a high pressure and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Good presentation skills. Strong leadership as well as team player skills
