A position of Project System Engineer is now open in Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) for different Space business: Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis), Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites). In accordance with the proven Candidate skills, she/he will be part of the Systems Engineer Team. Functionally, the Candidate is also part of the Project, with the main mission of developing/designing electronic units for flight equipment to achieve the unit delivery in accordance with project schedule, cost and quality requirements. In a day-to-day basis, she/he will report to Project Manager. The System Engineer is the Responsible of the Design acting as a key role of the Project Team. The selected candidate will work very closely to the Project Manager, together with the Product Assurance Manager, the Industrial Manager, the Validation Manager and the EEE/PCB manager. The System Engineer’s tasks comprise the complete development of an electronic equipment: from the analysis of the requirements in the Negotiation Phase to the potential support on flight, after the final delivery of the flight model once accepted. For this purpose, the Candidate will lead a team of engineers responsible of the final design of the unit coming from different areas (Power, Analog, Digital, FPGA, EEE, Radiation, Mechanical, Thermal, Materials and Process), aligned with Project and Team objectives.
