Job Description

We are currently seeking a System Architect IV (ATL) to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US). US Bank has acquired Salucro - a healthcare payments provider. They are looking to integrate its systems into US Banks network. The current platform leverages an outdated and disorganized data model that was built for a 'ticketing system'. Not a robust data and analytics solution. This assignment will strive to identify the gaps in design as well as gaps in data capture and come up with an approach to integrate it into US Bank data solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead client engagement and guide team on performing the analysis of the existing/company being integrated into US Bank
  • Reverse engineering a data model, ETL code, data pipelines
  • Profiling data
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Define relationships, data flows, and entity relationships to ensure efficient database architecture
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and normalization
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders to align data models with business needs
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and engineers to design solutions
  • Present data models and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
  • Design and implement data schemas in relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
  • Optimize database performance, indexing, and query efficiency
  • Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data migration and integration
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, security policies, and data governance frameworks
  • Work with compliance teams to align data models with regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Keep up with industry trends in data modeling, big data, and AI/ML
  • Recommend improvements to data architecture for scalability and efficiency
  • Assess and map the existing structure for Salucro
  • Optimize / rationalize the required tables and fields and map them to the target state
  • Define the target state data model and business process along with technical implementation needs and migrate the data

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in professional services or related field
  • 3+ years experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL and data modeling tools
  • 3+ years of experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI & DAX Data Modeling
