Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated S3 Cloudian Storage Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design related to Cloudian S3-compatible object storage systems. You will work closely with cloud architects, Dev and COE to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance storage solutions are in place to support our business needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and Deploy: Architect and design Cloudian S3 storage solutions in cloud and hybrid environments to meet business and application requirements
  • Storage Management: Manage Cloudian S3 storage clusters, ensuring high availability, reliability, and efficient storage usage
  • Backup and Recovery: Design recovery and disaster recovery strategies using S3-compatible object storage systems
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor storage performance, capacity, and usage using HyperIQ for AI-powered analytics and insights
  • HyperBalance: Ensure optimal load distribution across storage nodes, maximizing performance and reducing bottlenecks
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that storage solutions comply with security standards, encryption protocols, and relevant data privacy
  • Integrations: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate S3 object storage with various enterprise applications, databases, and cloud-native tools
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to manage storage lifecycles, backups, and provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to storage performance, data loss, access, and security
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for storage architecture, policies, configurations, and disaster recovery plans
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with DevOps, Network, and Cloud teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in storage engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a similar role with a focus on S3 and object storage systems
  • HyperBalance: Experience with HyperBalance for efficient load distribution across nodes in object storage environments
  • HyperIQ: Expertise in using HyperIQ for monitoring, analytics, and improving overall system reliability through AI-driven insights
  • SAFe certification (SAFe Architect, SAFe Agilist, or similar)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
  • proficiency in any other European language is a plus
  • EU citizenship
