Job Description

Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems. Provide the day-to-day system administration, including system and resource optimization, and user assistance. Conduct capacity and performance analysis, and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations. Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develop system administrator procedures, and conduct system administrator training and skills assessment. Determine computer user needs. Analyze system capabilities and programming techniques and controls.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a systems administrator
  • Experience managing the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems, and performing system capacity analysis and planning
  • Experience maintaining servers, creating monitoring reports and logs, and ensuring functionality of system links
  • Ability to monitor systems for acceptable performance and user accessibility, establish back-ups, and monitor systems security
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
