We’re looking for a System Administrator to help us design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for an enterprise environment that supports critical cybersecurity mission customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for an enterprise environment
  • Improve infrastructure using the latest technology and best implementation strategies
  • Recommend technologies and approaches to improve platform security, stability, reliability and comply with security controls
  • Recommend improvements and architecture changes to improve speed and performance
  • Provide customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management
  • Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network
  • Help team better understand the network by turning metrics into information
  • Share expertise through leadership and mentoring
  • Identify new opportunities to modernize the network

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
  • Experience with GIT
  • Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
  • Knowledge of Linux firewalls, Linux RPMs, networking configuration, and DNS
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in a CS or IT field and 5+ years of experience with systems or network administration, or 10+ years of experience with systems or network administration in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience managing systems using Infrastructure as Code technologies, including Salt, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, Chef or Terraform
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Apache NiFi or NiagraFiles
  • Knowledge of bi-directional network transfer systems
  • DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification
