We are seeking a detail-oriented Symplr Workforce Time & Attendance Administrator/Analyst to support the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Symplr Workforce Time & Attendance platform. This role will serve as the primary system owner for production support, timekeeping configuration, analytics maintenance, interface monitoring, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Payroll, Human Resources, Operations, and business leaders to ensure system accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. Based on general knowledge.
Job Responsibility
Administer and support the daily configuration and maintenance of Symplr Workforce Time & Attendance, including pay rules, accruals, schedules, and labor policies
Maintain and enhance Symplr Analytics dashboards, reports, and workforce metrics
Serve as the primary system owner for troubleshooting timekeeping, calculation, and pay rule issues in the production environment
Monitor, investigate, and resolve interface errors between timekeeping, payroll, and HR systems to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Manage system updates, patches, and release changes, including regression testing, validation, and post-deployment support
Configure system enhancements and optimizations in response to evolving business needs and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain custom reports, data extracts, and scheduled audits to support Payroll and Operations teams
Perform regular reconciliations of time, accrual, and labor data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity
Maintain system security roles, user access controls, and data governance standards
Create and maintain configuration documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, including root cause analysis and issue resolution for HR, Payroll, and department leadership
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and improve system usability and operational efficiency
Requirements
Experience administering or supporting workforce management, timekeeping, HRIS, payroll, or labor management systems
Hands-on experience with Symplr Workforce Time & Attendance strongly preferred
Strong understanding of pay rules, accruals, scheduling, labor policies, and payroll interface processes
Experience with reporting, analytics dashboards, data reconciliation, and audit support
Ability to troubleshoot system calculations, interface issues, and production support incidents
Knowledge of system testing, release management, and change control processes
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations
