Job Description:

Our Club is seeking an experienced Swimming Coordinator to oversee and maintain safe, clean, and inviting swimming facilities. You will conduct swimming classes, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and responsibly.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and maintain safe, clean, and inviting swimming facilities
  • Conduct swimming classes
  • Manage the swimming programme, including attendance records
  • Recruit and supervise freelance instructors
  • Ensure compliance with the National Rescue Test and risk assessment procedures
  • Assess swimmers' abilities and assign them to suitable classes
  • Organise holiday Crash Courses
  • Issue certificates when goals are achieved
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, responding to inquiries and managing feedback
  • Work closely with the Fitness & Wellbeing Manager to maintain high standards and smooth team communication

Requirements:

  • Competitive swimming experience as coach desirable
  • Lifeguard training and experience teaching swim lessons required

  • Develop and implement successful methods of communication across the wider Club team and between your team members and parents
  • In conjunction with the schools marketing team, develop internal and external marketing strategies for the swimming academy
  • To continue to support partnerships with Swim England and approved training providers to successfully offer CPD as appropriate
  • Manage the Swimming Academy budget
