Job Responsibility

Assist the Level 2 Swimming Teacher in delivering structured and enjoyable swimming lessons
Provide in-water support to help participants with technique and confidence
Prepare equipment and ensure the teaching area is safe and ready for use
Support learners individually or in small groups during sessions
Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all swimmers
Observe and report learner progress and behaviour to the Swimming Teacher
To assist with the emergency evacuation of the pool, as directed by the Swimming Teacher, for example in the event of a fire alarm activation
Ensure adherence to all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures
Attend training and team meetings as required
Provide a safe, informative, fun and productive lesson
