Job Description

As a Swim Instructor, you are the face of the Goldfish curriculum. You’ll help children become confident in the water while ensuring a safe, fun, and 'Golden' experience for every family.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide high-quality swim instruction based on our proven curriculum
  • Enforce pool rules, prevent accidents, and maintain a safe environment
  • Act as a brand ambassador, giving parents regular updates on their child’s progress and 'small wins'
  • Use creativity to help students overcome fears and reach their milestones
  • Ensure the pool area and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for class

Requirements

  • Non required. If you love working with kids, we will train you!
  • Previous experience as a lifeguard, youth coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider
  • Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to swim 80' free style
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Nice to have

Shallow water attendant cert is a plus
