Job Description:

As a Swim Instructor at Life Time, you'll help our youngest members build confidence and learn one of life's most essential skills—swimming. From a child's first time in the water to mastering a new stroke, you'll be there to celebrate each milestone. It's a fun, fast-paced, and rewarding role where your impact goes far beyond the pool. You'll play a key part in promoting safety, supporting developmental growth, and inspiring a lifelong love of swimming. All while being part of a supportive, energetic team that makes every lesson count.

Job Responsibility:

  • Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events
  • Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
  • Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area
  • Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services

Requirements:

  • Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
  • CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Certifications (within 60 days of hire)
  • Complete and pass all Life Time courses when hired
  • Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
  • Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
  • Ability to routinely raise to lift more than 20 lbs
