The Global Head of Product Management will be responsible for setting product vision & strategy for all client facing and internal tools at Sotheby’s. You will set and prioritize the product roadmap while providing strategic leadership and direction that optimizes against our customer needs and internal business imperatives, while supporting sustainable competitive advantages and rapid growth objectives. You will bring deep and proven experience building consumer online marketplaces and demonstrated success in delivering world class digital solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Define and own product vision for the next three to five years
Own and execute the product roadmap and deployment to market
Set clear product vision, motivate and inspire team members and cross-functional stakeholders
Continuously inspire, mentor, and scale the product team
Help shape and define the product team’s methodology
Drive the product management life cycle from concept to launch
Advocate for the client
Oversee and implement strong metrics around product launches
Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and delivery
Help recruit, interview, and generally make Sotheby’s a great home for tech talent
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in an analytical field (economics, statistics, industrial engineering or computing)
MBA or Masters degree strongly preferred
15+ years experience in Product or Operations leadership roles with consumer focused startups and large consumer-oriented brands
20+ years of experience in product management and operations
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to internal stakeholders
Experience building high traffic consumer products
Experience leading teams and prioritizing deliverables in a collaborative manner
Extensive experience managing multiple work streams
