The U.S. Personal Banking (USPB) Chief Operating Office team is focused on strategic growth and operational excellence across the USPB franchise. This highly visible team drives a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives and business management activities ranging from growth strategy, digital transformation, expense productivity, talent and performance management, and operating model efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
lead critical initiatives to develop and implement reporting and analytics for strategic expense management and resource allocations, to drive identification of insights, best practices and inform decision-making
demonstrate command over all data and analysis relevant to the project or work stream, with understanding of key drivers and levers
develop impactful visual representations of metrics to aid understanding, enabling users, including executive leadership, to easily interpret insights and identify strategic decisions
own quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting for Business Execution, including expenses, hiring, scorecard performance, location strategy and organizational design
effectively collaborate, interact, and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, Finance, subject matter experts
proactively deliver against own work plan, adhering to strong quality standards, with minimal supervision
own development of CEO-level presentations and other ad hoc requests as necessary
multi-task productively and reliably, while managing conflicting priorities
Requirements:
10+ years overall experience required
knowledge of consumer financial services
demonstrates clear understanding of the drivers of performance and decision making to maximize results
strong understanding of financial statements and expense management, with demonstrated expertise in Excel-based modeling and analytics
strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources
self-motivated and well organized, with strong problem-solving skills
proven track record with ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly and make decisions as required
an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline
