Job Description

As a VIE within the Sustainable Banking team in the Nordics, you will collaborate with various Business Lines to advise the Bank's clients—including companies, financial institutions, and local authorities/governments—on their sustainable finance transactions. You will work across a wide range of sectors and geographical areas, actively participating in client meetings and team discussions related to sustainable development. This position will allow you to quickly gain responsibilities within the team and be exposed to diverse ESG issues.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the preparation of discussion materials with clients: production of commercial presentations (pitches), benchmarks, collection and synthesis of extra-financial and climate data, analysis of projects eligible for Green, Social or Sustainability Loans/Bonds, analysis of Key Performance Indicators and Sustainability Performance Targets for Sustainability-Linked instruments, analysis of sector dynamics, etc.
  • Contribute to the execution of advisory or the structuring of sustainable finance mandates: drafting a Green/Sustainability Financing Framework, monitoring the development of a Second Party Opinion, drafting of an Investor/Lender Presentation or an Allocation & Impact Report, etc.
  • Participate in the analysis of the main developments: sustainable finance regulations, evolution of the Green, Social, Sustainability & Sustainability-Linked Bonds market as well as the Green and Sustainability-Linked Loans market, methodologies of ESG Rating Agencies, etc.
  • Assist the teams in all daily cross-functional tasks

Requirements

  • Be less than 28 years old
  • Be postgraduate of a Master degree
  • Be EU citizen
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and power Point particularly)
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets
  • Any experience in Sustainable Banking is positive
  • Strong interest in Sustainable Finance and/or the environment/climate
  • Ability to communicate clearly and easily
  • Ability to analyze and summarize
  • Rigour, precision and sense of organization
  • Apprehension of results, priorities and deadlines
  • Capacity to cooperate / Ability to work across disciplines
