You'll take on a purpose-led role where you'll nurture and deliver meaningful sustainability and social value outcomes for a key utilities client—while helping shape a more responsible and inclusive future across Vodafone Business. As a trusted and thoughtful advisor, you'll collaborate closely with teams, bring fresh ideas to life, and gently guide strategy into action, creating lasting environmental and social impact.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and care for the delivery of social value and sustainability plans, ensuring initiatives are thoughtfully implemented, tracked, and communicated
  • Partner collaboratively with customer Technology and Environmental teams to embed sustainability in everyday practices and decision-making
  • Act as a supportive subject matter expert—offering constructive insights, guidance, and challenge to strengthen sustainability initiatives and products
  • Develop and evolve carbon baselining and reporting approaches, ensuring alignment with CSRD requirements
  • Gather and interpret environmental and social data with attention to detail, helping shape meaningful and transparent reporting
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal teams, customers, and delivery partners to create shared value
  • Facilitate engaging workshops, presentations, and conversations that empower, uplift, and build capability across teams
  • Identify and nurture opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth, aligning ESG goals with business value
  • Contribute ideas and perspectives that continuously enhance the wider sustainability strategy and social value offering

Requirements

  • You bring experience in sustainability, social value, CSR, or sustainable products, with a genuine passion for making a difference
  • You're confident working with sustainability reporting frameworks and enjoy improving data quality and storytelling
  • You collaborate naturally across teams, creating structure and clarity in regulated or complex environments
  • You have experience or curiosity in the technology space, especially related to carbon reduction or sustainable IT
  • You understand social value frameworks (such as TOMs or similar) and broader ESG priorities
  • You take pride in delivering projects thoughtfully, reliably, and on time
  • You build warm, respectful relationships with stakeholders, partners, and communities
  • You communicate with empathy and clarity, and feel comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  • You enjoy a consultative approach—listening, guiding, and supporting others to achieve their sustainability ambitions
  • You proactively spot opportunities to improve, innovate, and create positive impact
  • You have knowledge of carbon baselining, sustainability reporting, and carbon reduction planning (CSRD familiarity is a strong plus)
  • You may hold (or be working towards) certifications such as ISO 14001, or are open to continuous learning
