Job Description:

We are seeking a Sustainability Technology Manager who combines technical curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to understand how digital solutions create sustainability value in infrastructure. In this individual contributor role, you will work closely with the Director of Sustainability and collaborate across Product, Marketing, Industry Solutions, User Success, Account Advancement, and external partners. Success in this role requires the ability to quickly research and digest diverse software capabilities, engage confidently with internal audiences, and thrive in a global, cross-functional environment. You will play a central role in connecting user insights, product discovery, and clear communication around the sustainability impact of our solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assess, maintain, and refine methodologies to quantify the sustainability impact of our software
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analyses to evaluate our sustainability capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to improve KPIs, metrics, and frameworks that reflect real-world sustainability outcomes
  • Lead or contribute to product discovery by asking users and partners targeted questions to understand how solutions are used
  • Collaborate with Product, Industry, and customer-facing teams to identify sustainability-related user needs and inform the product roadmap
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, features, or partnerships (e.g., LCA, embodied carbon, resilience analytics)
  • Present information and ideas clearly to internal audiences, including colleagues and director-level leaders
  • Research and prepare materials such as white papers and sales enablement content, securing alignment from relevant teams
  • Work with marketing and product marketing on documents, campaigns, webinars, and talking points
  • Engage with external partners and occasionally customers to support alignment and gather insights

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience gained directly within an engineering firm, the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) sector, an infrastructure-focused organization, or an enterprise software provider serving these industries
  • A degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, environmental science, sustainability) or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with or a strong aptitude for public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner
  • Experience researching and understanding diverse software solutions and their value

Nice to have:

  • Experience engaging directly with partners or customers on sustainability-related topics
  • Knowledge of LCA, embodied carbon, resilience analytics, or related domains
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and frameworks (e.g., GHG reporting, net-zero targets)
  • A history of successful collaboration across multiple teams in a complex, cross-functional environment
