Job Description

Meta is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager to join the Sustainability Team focused on the Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) program. Our team enables Meta to operate and grow sustainably and responsibly. The Responsible Supply Chain program helps build safe and resilient communities in our global supply chain by protecting and empowering the lives of workers and the environment. This position will focus on managing supply chain human rights and responsible minerals sourcing risks and optimizing RSC management systems. We are looking for experienced candidates with supply chain social and environmental responsibility experience and advanced analytical skills as well as demonstrated background in program management and supplier engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute responsible supply chain operations including supplier prioritization activities, risk screening, benchmarking
  • Support execution of responsible minerals sourcing program and supply chain mapping activities
  • Lead data and survey programs that support labor and human rights compliance activities and sub-tier supplier risk management
  • Execute technical reviews and process standardization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Manage supplier responsibility data pipelines and dashboards, delivering solutions that enable automation, AI integration, and scaling
  • Contribute to program reporting, communications, and training
  • Engage with sourcing, legal, business units and other cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated suppliers and stakeholders relationship management experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental sustainability, business management, or related
  • 8+ years of work experience with responsible supply chain and supply chain responsibility data, including for example: environment, labor, health & safety, human rights, and responsible mineral sourcing
  • Proven analytical experience, including knowledge of advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Graphs, etc. including working with custom software solutions
  • Familiarity with the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct and Responsible Minerals Initiative standards
  • Experience in project management with experience self-managing complex program delivery in a matrixed environment
  • Experience in developing management systems including standard operating procedures
  • Advanced communication skills including experience convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated flexibility and experience of consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate
  • Experience diplomatically resolving issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, even when working under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel (10%)
