Job Description:

London Stadium are looking for a Sustainability Manager to join the team and help deliver our Sustainability efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in a crucial role in a dynamic business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the stadium through day-to-day operations, a variety of projects and exciting events such as football, concerts, Major League Baseball, athletics, rugby and community events. Job Responsibility:

Support the Head of Capital Projects and Sustainability to deliver the Stadium Sustainability Action Plan 2025-2030
Co-ordinate sustainability initiatives to ensure they deliver to programme, budget, carbon and savings targets
Identify new initiatives that could reduce the Stadium’s carbon footprint
Research and prepare reports to the GLA Climate Team and Stadium Senior Management Team
Co-ordinate allocation of the Stadium Ticket Levy

Requirements:

Experience of reducing the carbon footprint in a complex organisation
Ability to influence, including cultivating commitment among sceptics and those with limited knowledge of sustainability
Personal credibility with a professional demeanour that generates trust and confidence
Strong organisational awareness with political and cultural sensitivities
